Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, withdrawals and refunds work for courses provided by SpraViva Institute of Languages. Enrollment and payment are arranged directly with us (for example via WhatsApp), and the specific terms of your course are confirmed with you at the time of enrollment. Where those agreed terms differ from this policy, the terms most favourable to you as a consumer apply.
1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you enroll as a consumer at a distance, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of enrolling, without giving a reason. To withdraw, simply tell us in writing (email or WhatsApp message is enough). If you have not yet started classes, you receive a full refund. If you asked us to begin classes during the 14-day period, you pay only a proportionate amount for the classes already delivered, and we refund the rest. Once a course has been fully delivered with your prior express consent, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
2. Cancelling before a course starts
If you cancel before your course or batch begins, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid, beyond the withdrawal right above.
3. Cancelling after a course has started
If you cancel after classes have begun, we refund the fee for the classes not yet delivered, calculated on a pro-rata basis. Classes already attended (or made available to you) are not refundable.
4. Missed classes
Classes you miss without notice are generally not refundable, but we will always try to help you catch up or reschedule where reasonably possible. If you let us know in advance, we will do our best to accommodate you.
5. If we cancel or change a course
If we cancel a course, or make a significant change you do not accept (such as a change of schedule that no longer works for you), you may choose a full refund of the affected portion or a transfer to another course or batch of equal value.
6. How to request a refund
Send your request to spravivainstitute@gmail.com or via WhatsApp, including your name and course details. We aim to process eligible refunds within 14 days, using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.
7. Pathway, Ausbildung and exam fees
Fees you pay to third parties — such as universities, examination bodies (for example Goethe or telc), or authorities — are governed by those parties' own refund rules, not by us. SpraViva charges only for the language tuition and services it provides directly.
8. International consumers
If you are a consumer resident outside the EU, the consumer-protection law of your own country may give you additional or different rights. This policy does not limit any such rights.
